Every Rare Carat order, whether it’s an engagement ring, a diamond, or a piece of fine jewelry, ships free and fully insured to any U.S. state or Canada.
Once an order is confirmed, every diamond goes through a two-step verification process at Rare Carat’s facility. This checks the laser inscription against its certificate and tests it for authenticity before it’s set or shipped.
Here’s what to expect once your order is placed:
  • Diamond confirmation: 24-48 hours typically, up to 72 hours at most
  • Charge timing: No charge until the diamond is confirmed as yours
  • Shipping cost: Free and fully insured to any U.S. state or Canada
  • Processing time: Most orders ship within 1-3 business days
  • Delivery time: Arrives 2-5 business days after it ships
  • Need it faster: Expedited shipping available at checkout, with overnight delivery on many in-stock items
  • Packaging: Plain, nondescript box, nothing on the outside hints at what’s inside
  • Carrier: Domestic orders ship via FedEx; international orders may ship via UPS, typically overnight
  • Signature: Required on delivery from someone 21 or older
  • Tracking: Emailed the night before your package ships, so someone can be home to sign for it

Shipping to Canada

Canadian customers get the same free, fully insured shipping as U.S. orders, with a few things that work a little differently:
  • Customs and duties: None. Jewelry shipped to Canada isn’t subject to customs duties
  • Taxes: Sales tax applies based on the rates of the destination province
  • Pricing: All prices are shown in USD, not CAD
  • Returns: The same 30-day return policy applies to Canadian orders
