Eternity Band
The eternity band is a classic design and has been known to use larger stones, though now it is also trendy to go small! This design features stones that are usually prong sent all the way around the band. This design is harder to size, so you may want to consider a band with diamonds going 3/4 of the way around. The classic eternity band features round diamonds though square stones and other fancy cuts set the whole length of the band are also an option. Recently, a popular ring is one made of off-set baguette diamonds, a modern take on the classic eternity band design.
Scattered Band
Many designers have been creating bands in any color metal, whether white yellow or rose gold, with the addition of tiny scattered diamonds all the way around. What is nice about this idea is you can play with the millimeter size and shapes of the stones you are scattering and their combination. You can also choose to texture the metal of your band with engraving or a satin finish.
Pave Band
The pave band is an extra sparkly choice when it comes to small diamond rings. This ring is made up of tons of tiny diamonds pave set, snuggly together into the band so that all you see is the tiny glints of light from all of the tiny diamonds, barely any metal is showing. This is a great accent ring and one that pairs nicely with any other rings you wear on a day to day basis!
Mini fancy cuts
Another trending style is one with a thin rounded band and a few fancy cut diamonds prong set on top, a smaller everyday version of an alternative engagement ring if you will. These rings can be worn on any finger and many designers have played with the stone sizes, shapes and asymmetrical settings. You may choose a marquise and a round, or maybe an emerald and an oval? These mini rings have a stackable elegant look that when paired together in different combinations look really edgy.
